i’ve been communicating through visuals and movement my whole life as a dancer and painter. my most recent theatre show ‘existence’ made me realise that, actually, i just want to make films.

when i looked at the exhibition of toi māori – it was the first time i allowed the swelling of complex feelings to arise in me. then lockdown hit and i decided to process what i felt.
